STAGE Sustainability Transition EU Funding Program is Now Open

The STAGE funding program offers up to EUR 25,000 to SMEs for enhancing sustainability through activities like feasibility studies and process adaptation. Eligible companies from various sectors in the EU can apply by signing up on the STAGE Platform and working with registered Sustainability Advisors.

What is it About?

The STAGE funding program will grant up to EUR 25 000 per selected SME to support their transition to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Financed activities include: 

  • Preparation of an investment project plan 
  • Feasibility study 
  • Due diligence analysis 
  • Adaptation of business processes

Application Deadline

The first cut-off date is 30 September 2024. Other cut-off dates are 15 November 2024 and 31 December 2024 (end of the program).

Eligibility

STAGE funding is for startups and SMEs from EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries. Companies operating in these technological areas are eligible to be funded:

Textiles; Electronics; Mobility-Transport-Automotive; Energy-Intensive Industries; Renewable Energy; Agri-Food; Health; Digital; Construction; Retail; Proximity & Social Economy; Tourism; Creative & Cultural Industries and Aerospace & Defence.

  1. Sign up to the STAGE Platform
  2. Complete the Initial Assessment 
  3. Choose a Sustainability Advisor and develop your Sustainability Transition Plan
  4. Apply for financial support to implement your Sustainability Transition Plan

The financial grant can be spent only for services provided by Sustainability Advisors who are part of the STAGE ecosystem and are registered on the STAGE Platform.
